What a guy thing.. Ron figures it out buy watching Harry and assuming it has something to do with sex, because at 17... doesn't EVERYTHING have to do with sex? While Hermione runs off to the Library, and when she calms down a bit will figure it out too.
Oh, this is the best Ron you have written to date, I mean he is Harry's best friend, for 6 years.. (oh the werewolf face thing was great, Ron still can't say "werewolf") so he would know things about Harry no-one else knows. Even if it isn't in the book, and contrary to opinion, boys do tell each other stuff.. it usually happens while they are doing something else, like sports,quiddich, or games, chess, they start telling each other stuff while their hands are occupied doing other things. IMHO
