Harry finally talking to his friends, accepting that he can't do it all alone, that they care about him no matter what -- something that he had to realize. Hermione's always going to try and find out the why of anything Harry does, it's her curiosity at work. And considering how many new and exciting things Harry gets involved with... fun times.
I know what you mean about the wistfulness on Harry/Nathaniel. It makes no intellectual sense to me... for all their deprived upbringings, Harry’s so much more alpha and charge in, while Nathaniel has the extreme opposite personality. Maybe because they're both such caring people. Anyway, whatever it is, in spite of the fact that I was adamant about not having Harry/Nathaniel, I have to say it's an intriguing thought.
