Just a tip, after your group is set up and the joining frenzy has settled down, moderate the group. I found that my group, when unmoderated, was hassled by spammers quite a bit (a pain, let me tell you). As soon as they discover your groups unmoderated, you'll get hit in waves. The way I got rid of them was moderating it.
