In a way, this is pretty much the most ideal circumstance in which for Anita to have a child. I couldn't really imagine her getting pregnant in the books...well, maybe, but not really. But 5/15 Dawn is just right. Little enough to bring out some of Anita's maternal instincts, but mature enough for Anita to handle without feeling completely like a fish out of water.

I love the dynamic you've got going on in the household...between Anita, Micah, Nathaniel and Dawn. It's kind of like they're already a happy family. Now we just need to make sure that social services don't get to take her away! I can't wait for her to meet Jason...I think they'll really like each other. I've always kind of liked the Dawn/Jason pairing (super sekrit crossover ship) and I can totally see Dawn having a little crush on him because he would be the kind of guy that 15 year old Dawn would have liked...college-aged, funny/sarcastic, all-american cute. I can't wait for you to bring him into the story...one of my favorite Anita characters :)

Anyways, thank you for sharing these little scenes. Both give us a lot of insight into some deeply repressed issues of the main characters. I can see how this little fic would be really theraputic/helpful in trying to work out issues with the new canon material...Anyways, take care and can't wait to see more!!!
