Great chapter. I love Dawn's language patterns. You've really got the Joss-speak down for her :) Micah would have (or still would I guess) made a great dad. He's so understanding, yet firm. It's the perfect mix. I also love the special connection that Dawn has with Nathaniel - she can read his thoughts better than most, but she also seems to really care about him and look up to him more than she does most of the others (Micah now too I think). She seems to gravitate to the male people in her life...as well as Anita, but I think having stable males who genuinly care about her is a new concept for her and she likes it. Anyways, great chapter...one of my favorite stories by you! Can't wait for more!!
