Oh, the Richard incident was written very well. I was so tense and practically glued to the screen when reading it.
All of the chapter was great. *grins*
nitpicks: PART I "Wait, Dawn--" Anita's voice almost made her stop, but then Micah interested with a low, unintelligible entreaty, and Dawn kept walking.
PART II "We should stay," Dawn repeated, voice stronger this time. She made herself pull away from Anita. She had to be strong all on here own, even if this was scary, like being alone at the Zerbrowski house.
(not sure about this one, it seems strange to me) Anita gave the cookie a second-take. "You made a Jean-Claude cookie?"
