It's a good chance for me to stretch my mind and get out from under the ohpreshun of the epics. And remind myself that I really *do* enjoy writing.

I'm trying to re-read the Blood books now that I'm watching the TV series, but have only gotten as far as the first two. Now them's some books that have aged well. (Get it? Vampire books that age well? ... Yeah, I'm going back to work now.)
