I'm glad she's finally dealing with her Gilmore universe. Boy, must her family be confused right now.
DO we get to see their thoughts on the matter, now or at the later point of this wonderful story?

That claxons (or klaxons, which is it?) thing was a nice touch. Not to mention a counterpoint of flashbacks.
I do not know in which directions you planned to go initially, but this is pretty well pulled of on Rory's part. Since she's still a bit of a confused mess.
