It's not odd. There are only four places that should ever be written as people, Hogwarts, the TARDIS, Narnia, & Atlantis. So some reason they are the most sentiant non-traditional characters & so charming too.

If it helps, I had a plot bunny where Hogwarts & Atlantis had the TARDIS fleets as their babies... yeah, that was killed.
