Well-done crossover and this is from someone intimately familiar with both the book and the film but not all that familiar with NCIS. Incidentally...in the book, Danny's full name is Daniel Anthony Torrance and that's where Danny (subconsciously?) took the name for his imaginary friend.

You should read the book---it's interesting that you picked up so much from seeing Kubrick's adaptation alone. You did a fantastic job!
