Y'know, Last Man Standing never did sit well with me. Because Abby and Gibbs had a whole conversation about the shooter not being able to look his/her victim in the face, and shot through a pillow. Not to deaden the sound, but because there was hesitation about shooting.

And does Langer seem like the type to hesitate like that? I think not. But Lee (who the minute Gibbs said was gun phobic I went 'she's your spy') does. And she's the one who was having clandestine meetings with Palmer as an excuse (sexual hijinks are an okay cover for other less savory activities). Palmer stopped it because he 'felt like he was being used.'

Plus, when she went undercover she slipped into the facade of cold and calculating very easily for a newbie. I have a feeling we're going to find out a lot about Lee when it is finally discovered.

Yeah. Gibbs was off his game here. And the writers left us way too many clues before the final fade-to-black of this ep.
