Everybody, check out the amazing profile page banner houses7177 made for me! I am truly in awe of her graphical talents. (It also inspired me to redo my colours on the lj *again*, to an orangey set to go with the banner. Blue's a bit too cold, I think.)

Blurry puppy

Back in my first real fandom, when I was 16 and OMG so artsy, I made a website. I also got a hold of photoshop and the Internet, and it overwhemeled me to the point where I was making graphics all over the place. I mean, I even did stuff like this:

as back bars.

But you asked me a question. As a recurring theme in that fandom, I was exploring a character's psyche. I found the original image of that little girl on the net and played with it in photoshop to reflect what my 16-year-old brain thought was the thesis of the particular character profile. Puppy's blurry because the character didn't see others as being particularly useful, and the water and rose on the ground gradually fade to red in an allusion to blood in a melodramatic sort of way.
