Inevitable 15 update

So, it's up. Chapter fifteen of Inevitable: Like a Rugged Island Without a Shore is up.

The title is from a quote by Nicholas Boileau: "Honor is like a rugged island withouth a rugged shore: once you have left it, you can never return.

At Pomme de Sang

Mmm, so perfectly Anita, so perfectly screwed up :)
Fear, paranoia, a little bit of shock distancing her thoughts...difficult to pull off the aftermath of severe trauma, but you did it. Very well-written!

-So true!
-You have written all of AB spot on and HP fabulously.

I meant to review a couple weeks back when I first read Inevitable but my mind has been pretty much turned to mush and made me a crazy AB/HP addict. The storm has calmed down enough for me to leave the two sentences above. I can't rave enough how much I love your story and that sometimes I forget its not written by LKH herself...but better...It was written and created by someone as brilliant as you. I bow down.

Thanks very much for your kind words. I'm quite enjoying writing this story, with my two favourite fandoms smushed together :)

Thanks! I've gotten a few comments about from people who don't think Anita would react that way, but the way I view the curse, it's torture. Huh.

Don't mind me, I'm still riding off the last confusing review.

Would Anita in her right mind act like this? Think her boys were out to blame her, hurt her, for what Bellatrix did?
No.
But is Anita in her right mind at the moment?
No.

I agree with you, and we've already seen that prolonged exposure to the Cruciatus curse can leave you broken, insane. Poor Neville's parents :(... Maybe Harry could bring them up at a later date? (though I guess he'd find it difficult to talk about that scene in St Mungo's to strangers)

Good, I'm glad that made it across. It made sense to me, as an HP fan, that the curse is not of the good in making for mental stability.

Neville's parents...

All in good time. All in good time...
