The way I see Nate, he's being a very good little sub, trying to do exactly what his master wants of him. He's learned not to call Anita that, because it freaks her the hell out, but it's still there. I wasn't going at this as how everyone impacts Nate, because in this, Nate's thinking about the centre of his universe -- Anita.
He only really started to get dominant after the forming of the second triumverate, which was the day before the sexcapades happened, IIRC. He gained some of Anita's dominance. We'll see if that carries into the next book.
