I'm finding myself identifying with Ron, at least the way you write him, much more than I'd expected I would. Ron is what I'm going to call the Blind Watcher - not in the BtVS sense, but he's caught in with things about his friends, and his enemies, and his acquaintances; and while he's often oblivious anyway he ends up stuck in the middle between them, wanting to help and not know how. Sometimes (okay, often), his responses to things around him (Harry and Ginny, Luna and Ginny and Harry, for example) are wildly off course; but they're always well intentioned. And while the road to hell may be paved with such, Ron's not on that path. He's got his friends to ground him - redirect him, maybe.
Luna, meanwhile, is getting much more strong-willed. I like it, it's a good continuation of how she should be evolving in the books themselves.
