Lauren Graham is my other tv girlfriend

Okay, seriously: Lauren Graham is my tv girlfriend. She's done such an amazing job as Lorelai Gilmore over the years, and then last night, she packed a tonne of emotion into a two-minute drunken karaoke tune... she turned me into a Luke/Lorelai shipper in the space of a single goofy moment. (Okay, that happened a while ago, but I was reintroduced to the love.)

Much love, people.

Yeaaah, I'm a luke/lorelai shipper too, and that song, just made my heart go awww.. >.

I had no clue she had such an amazing voice! As for the Luke/Lorelai shippage, that's all that has kept me watching the show. Well, that and Scott Patterson is just plain hotter than hell.

Also, thanks for posting this link to that scene on Youtube!

Oh, yeah that scene made me love Luke/Lorelei again. :) God, does she know how to act!

This entire season has just been painful with there being so little Luke/Lorelai ship'ness... it's almost sad how I keep watching and hoping for the barest crumbs... but yea, that moment was a gift to the starving fan... I only wish it had come half a season earlier.

This was the first time in a long time that the show seems 'right'. I'm hoping it's long term and not a one shot deal [sigh]

Oh wow. That actually made me a little teary. Thanks for posting it! She does rock, and her voice was much much better than I'd anticipated. *joins in the Lauren Graham love*

That made me want to cry! I've lost touch with the whole series after the wedding was called off. I love Luke/Lorelei and I'll sail with that ship any time! Thanks for sharing.

Lauren Graham hit it out of the park on this one. I love Luke and Lorelai, I have to say. Ever since day one :)

You mean ever since they regressed Rory's character? Seriously, I'm watching season 1 again and Rory seems more grown up than she does in season 7.

Luke and Lorelai are love.

[identity profile] ktoth04.livejournal.com 2007-05-04 04:21 am (UTC)(link)
yea, pretty much, she grew down...
lol

[identity profile] mhalachaiswords.livejournal.com 2007-05-04 05:03 am (UTC)(link)
She's good. Apparently she sang acapella in college, so I read on the internets.

Luke and Lorelai have always been so good together. Even from those first early shows... Lauren and Scott have always held this show together.

Hell, episode 2 of season 7. I missed most of season 7 (caught like the last 5 aired eps) but I know what happens, and it's like, geeze. Luke and Lorelai's relationship (friendship, romance, fighting, all of it) has been consistantly amazing. The actos always hit it out of the park.

Mhalachai,

Have you read the new Sookie Stackhouse book?

Also, do you know anyone that writes Sookie fics?

Vivian

Hey there. I haven't yet read the new Sookie book, but it's a plan. As for Sookie fic... I haven't found anything. Which is too bad.

Although, that said, I myself can't find an angle to write fic on in that series. But that's me :)
