Leaving the internetz. BRB

As usual, running short on time. I'm away from the internet for a few days (for biznez purposes) but will reply to comments on that last thread when I get back. I'm already going into withdrawal.

So I will leave you with a link to the LOLtorchwood macro that is leading me down the ficly path to badness.

This is a bit unrelated but I'm doing some research and was wondering something.

My question is this: how did you add the RSS feed link to your journal? Or did it come with your journal template? You see, one day looking at my journal I noticed a RSS and ATOM buttons under the list of my tags. I had no idea why or what it would do.

To experiment I decided to subscribe to my journal using Google Reader which is a fantastic RSS Feed Reader. I noticed that it was a very clean way to read everything and how even the things I put under lj cuts, stopped being cut and gave the entire view of everything posted. Also it was very easy to go from one post to another. I'm in the process of doing more research and noticed your account has the same RSS and ATOM buttons my journal does. I still am unaware of how that works. Do you know? Specifically why your journal shows those feed buttons? I've looked in the FAQs about this and am still pretty confused. ^_^'

Err.. sorry about the ramble. I think it has something to do with the journal templates but I don't know for sure. Do you know anything about this subject?

They all have RSS feeds, just some templates come with the link. Otherwise, your webbraser has a button but maybe your doesn't support reading it in the raw form.

for this journal, just write it as mhalachaiswords.livejournal.com/data/rss

At least that how I use it in my version of IE, but it should work also with Google Reader also if you paste it in to add RSS, I guess...

>.< Thank you. I'm such and idiot sometimes. It's right there in the FAQs. Thanks for explaining it to me ... again. ^_^'

Speaking of LOLtorchwood/cats, have you read this fic? (http://sam-storyteller.livejournal.com/126227.html#cutid1) Even, I, a non-Torchwood watcher, nearly died of laughter when reading it. :)

Edit: Let's try this again, well less failing at the internet, lol.

Yes, I've read that story (over and over :). Sam is my Torchwood fanfic god. I seldom fangirl other fanfic writers, but oh man. And I think that story clinched it :D
