I'm going to checkout twitter later...I'm getting booted off the computer by my 7 and 4 year old sons. I guess PBS SPROUT on the computer is more important.
twitter for the win! I wanted a place I could put posts that are even more banal than what I put on LJ. And I have succeeded! Or maybe lost, but that's up for interpretation.
But that's okay. It's rather entertaining. For example, I just scanned your twitter and saw the comment about index finger v. ring finger lengths...
Of course, I promptly checked mine out. And then freaked myself out by realizing that one appears longer if I look at my palm, and the other appears longer if I look at the back of my hand.
I'm still not sure how that works - so I quit looking so I'd no longer feel like I'm deformed. *headdesk*
same reaction as everyone else, I think, re fanlib. I did sort of know they existed since they invited me to join, but once I saw how crap the site was I didn't. Never looked at it again after that, or thought about it until I heard the news.
So...your being on made me decide to finally check out this weird thing called twitter I keep hearing about. I still don't get it -- the "click" hasn't happened yet. However, I did get an account. ZephyrRS...original, eh?
For me, Twitter is a great way to update the Internet with the portions of my life too boring for an LJ post. Plus I can do it from my cell phone, for long bus rides and walks on the beach and stuff.
It occurs to me that I'm too connected to the internet, but whatever. It's not like it's a *problem* or anything...
Yeah, that. I started as a non-ficcer on LJ as Mhalachai, and then one day I was all, I should have a writing journal and thought that Mhalachai's words would be a nice name.
Ten minutes later, I'm banging my head into the desk because I now have "swords" in my name.
Lesson learned: proofread twice, hit sumbit once. (although it's obvious that it didn't bother me all that much)
All righty then. I signed up on twitter (like I need another site on the internet to be on! Oh well!) I'll be following you (oohh sounds like I'm stalking you!). My name on it is Starr4all.

But Dr. Who rocks, in any event. Maybe I'll get to those this weekend.
