Drive-by posting

Hey kids. Happy Saturday. Just a few quick notes:

1: To the anonymous poster who gave me an LJ-gift, thanks so much! I return the sentiment and wish you the best of the holiday season!

2. If you've recently friended me and want me to friend you back, drop by and say hi. Also, I'm kind of curious as to how you found me in the first place, so if you want to share.... :)

2. Does anyone have any idea what I can get my mother for Christmas?

3. I'm not sure what I want to write today. Maybe I'll go through and fix things. Or respond to all those comments I need to get to. Or watch some DVDs. It's boring here in Vancouver right now.

One week and an hour to vacation!

She knits, she watches TV, she gardens reluctantly. She's really into outdoor cooking like BBQ, but it's so not the season for that up here.

Oh! And she's really a fan of non-caffinated teas. Hrm. That might be an idea. Maybe.

How crazy is she about knitting? My sister loves knitting and she loves obscure knitting books.

Whoops! That was me in the previous post.

Knitting books are a good idea. I'll have to look into that. Books are the gift that keeps on giving :)

Maybe you can find a speciality tea shoppe and get her some blend that she hasn't tried before and some knitting supplies then?

That's a good idea. A unique blend of tea :) Thanks!
