One-shot heaven

I was thinking... I'm not sure if all of you have read some of my one-shots. So I highlight them (the good ones) here for you:

Flowers from Brian (Buffy/Highlander): We all know that Joyce received flowers from a "Brian" just before she died... but who was Brian? This explores a possibility that maybe, just maybe, Brian wasn't Brian after all... (Joyce/Methos)

Ma Petite Ange de la Morte (Anita Blake/Buffy): An idea I'd been batting around for a while. Jean-Claude seemed terribly certain that Anita was the right one for him, even after all the crap she'd put him through. Ever wonder why? (Jean-Claude and Drusilla)

Nice Girl (Anita Blake/Buffy): In the Mind the Gap universe. It's a Dawn/Gregory "adult oriented" story, in which our young couple realizes that they're both overly complicating their lives, and get on with it. Or, in other words, they get it on.

Obituary (Anita Blake/Buffy): A bittersweet story that centres on Nathaniel and Joyce. Joyce visits her dead brother's grave and finds someone she was never expecting to see: her nephew, Nathaniel.

In case you need something to read while I'm slogging away at the other stories.

These were great. I had found these when I was hungry for more of your work.

I remember all of these! Obituary was my favorite, I kinda remember when it was posted. *tilts head* I think. The interaction was nice, and Joyce is herself. I miss her.

^_^ I think I go through a million fics a month, its hard to keep up. I have a lot of spare time and I tend to read really quick. I saw on another post you got the new Merry book, is it worth buying the hardback? Although knowing me I'll wind up buying it just so I don't have to read the small print in the paperback.

Buying the hardback... I'm not sure I can say. I like hardcovers, so I buy them... but I'm not as in to the Merry series as I am the Anita series, so if it were a money issue (for myself) I wouldn't do it.

*shrugs* It actually is a good book. I'd even say it's the best since the first. I recomend reading it. So if that means you need to buy it, well then :)

I may do a Merry Gentry thread in a bit, when I get some more of that "spare time(tm)"

I'm more in the Anita world at the moment too, there's more to it I guess. Before I encountered the TTH site, I had no clue what AB was, I saw so many fics in that category I bought Guilty Pleasures. Of course, my grandmother bought it for me, she just oddly blinked at the title, it was amusing.

Oh! Where in the world did you get the idea for Ma Petite Ange de la Morte? I could just picture Dru dancing around talking to our dead JC. She's my favorite vampire!

And looking at the comment links in your lj has the song stuck in my head, backround singers and all. Although the fact my mom usually has Fleetwood on a lot might explain it . . .

MPADM came into my head when I was trying to figure out *why* JC put up with Anita after she betrayed him to Mr. Oliver in Circus of the Damned. The "what if" in this case was, "what if he knew she could make him ruler, and that she would love him?" It would solve a lot of the mystery on that one.

And since I cross everything under the sun (AB/HP anyone?) Dru was the logical seer.
