Staring at that while spell-checking, I realized that it's "had raised". I'm going to go hide now.
My New Years retroactive resolutions: (yes the ones for 2005)
1. Write lots!
2. Accept constructive criticism, and actually deal with the issues brought up as opposed to being all wounded prima donna.
3. Start running. Run a 10-kilometre race.
4. Make lots of new friends on LJ.
5. Expand my creative horizons and write in fandoms other than my core fandoms (HP, AB and BtVS). At least cross with them.
6. Have Indian food with at least one person I've met through LJ.
7. Single-handedly keep the nearby Starbucks location in business.
8. Plan and carry out several simultaneous epics (and if not finish them, then at least get solid headway)
My fic resolutions for next year:
1. Finish Inevitable
2. Finish Switchback
3. Finish Candlelight
4. Finish all the outstanding fics I said I'd write for people
5. Finish my claim for Anita at
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
6. Consider starting a new epic
7. Write at least one HP fic that isn't a drabble, and will hopefully include Hagrid.
8. and whatever else comes my way.
Now, for all of you who are familiar with Twisting the Hellmouth: January is "Hug a Writer" month. Why not drop by TTH and leave a review for your favourite story? If you haven't got a TTH account, most people have an LJ or an email where you can go to leave some love. What better time to read some new fic? (If you're not sure where to look, I've found that going to my fave authors and looking at their recommendations leads me to great authors).
