Date: 2006-04-05 03:54 am (UTC)Anita's contemplation of using her necromancy like Senora Dominga did was brilliant. It really underscored how much and how strongly Anita is reacting to everything. One of the things I like most about your writing is that when something traumatic happens, the characters don't just bounce right back, but they don't just not ever recover, either. This makes then seem so much more real, but it's hard to find writers who can balance too much and not enough the way you can. As usual, I can't (but somehow will manage to) wait for more!
