ETA4:21pmPST: Okay, the application for the job is off. Why so quickly? Because it popped up on Monster yesterday, but according to the company web site was due in by SUNDAY. So it's off, and hopefully before the place closes today.

PDS is down and I don't know why.

It's at chapter 10 right now and it's a fun way to spend 20 minutes (it's reeeeeally short).

Woe for writers block! I completely sympathise... All I can say is that I hope you get hit with inspiration soon, because not being able to write is one of the most frustrating things in the world. *hugs*

And the sad thing is? It's not fictional writer's block. It's non-fiction on my FAVOURITE topic: me. Trying to fill one page with information about why they should hire ME and being unable to break into all capital LETTERS for EMPHASIS is hard!

*shudders* i hate cover letters. there is nothing worse to me than having to sit there and write a page on why someone should hire me, why i'm so special. self-esteem problem? who, me? i can't imagine getting writer's block trying to write something like that. *rubs shoulders* but you'll do well.

it's all part of promoting myself by making me seem big and important in my roles! Which was all totally true, but saying it in a way where every sentence doesn't start with "I did... I can..." is tough!

One is off, the other is in the hands of my beta (yes, I'm using a beta for a cover letter -- she's the awesomest person EVA) and i'll send it in Monday morning.

Maybe i'll win the lottery and never have to write another one of these. Well, it's nice to dream.

Thank you very much for mentioning my story. I opened up my own LJ so that I could post thoughts and ideas I had about what I might put in future chapters. I almost went with Jack, Sam, Daniel, and Teal'C having magic while they were trapped inside the kids' bodies, but I got so many people leaving reviews and sending me messages about having the magic stay with the kids'... Well, obviously, I was strongly influenced by my readers. I was going to try and have everyone get switched back by the end of Sunday, at the latest, but everyone seems to want SG-1 to at least have to go to one Potions class. Ah, well, deep-deep down, I wanted to anyway, so... I have to figure out how they all spend their time on Sunday.
