Glad that came across :) The Hogwarts people have a set view of magic, which Harry has seen thrown out the window in St. Louis. Mostly Anita's magic, which seems to change as she needs it.

I'm curious about Dumbledore. Was that really him?

Yup, it's really him. He strapped on the magic corset, as someone said below, and stepped out to meet Scridgmour. He had to stop the Minster from figuring out that Hogwarts was in danger, that he was hurt.

Is Harry going to get back to St. Louis in this story? I know you've got a set amount of chapters and are planning a sequel, but how far is this one going to go...through the end of the school year, Christmas, ???

Sadly, I cannot give out that information, as it's a plot point :) However, only 80 chapters in total. 12 left :D

Anyways, I liked that you got Ron and Hermione in this chapter. They are his best friends after all, and they've seemed a bit underrepresented in this story.
Ron and Hermione are very important to Harry, and nothing should let that fall away. I always dislike HP stories in which Harry is apart from Ron and Hermione in the later years at school. Even if Hermione and Ron hook up, that's no reason for them to lose Harry's friendship. Harry holds his friends tightly. Hermione, even with her large brain, has a huge heart and sense of good. Ron has such a large family, and a large heart on his own, that nothing can push Harry out of their lives. He's family.

There's so much possibility there...especially for short vignettes or Inevitable!One-shots :) Can't wait to see where we go next and seeing how the Crew back in the States is doing!

Oh, that's a great idea! The Harry/Ginny/Luna courtship isn't really part of the story, but some fluffy excerpts could be fun!

Also, the St. Louis crew is coming back on screen in chapter 73 in a major way.
