Three dollars and some change

I love the Nathaniel character (which I think is pretty much obvious at this point). He's not the fragile pet we first saw -- as Anita gets to know him, we learn more about how he's had to survive, and how he can get his way through manipulation rather than brute force.

Also, I like developing him in my fics because then I can make him the way I think he should be, which is selfish but hey.
