Okay, so: In this week's director's cut clip on the CW website, we learn a little more about Dean and his technology ineptness. Dean goes in to talk to someone named Carly, and gets a bunch of info, including something written on a post-it note.

DEAN: There's 19 calls in all, and, uh... I don't know what this is.
SAM: *lolz* You mean Carly's MySpace address?
DEAN: Yeah, MySpace, what the hell is that?
SAM: *lolz more*
DEAN: Seriously, is that some sort of porn site?

In which Kripke et al. level commentary at today's pop culture. I'm lovin' it.

When I first became interested I despaired of ever finding the shows online. The bit torrent thing doesn't work for me and I somehow stumbled on someone who posts on Youtube. I'm all current now!

I think the only one that hasn't scared me so far is the one in Richardson Texas. It mostly cracked me up.

The ep is called 'Hellhouse'. It's set in Richardson, not sure where they actually filmed it, but Vancouver wouldn't surprise me. The writers didn't research very well. It opens with Dean driving (of course) and Sam sleeping, a note on the screen indicates they are on I35 heading south towards Richardson TX. When Sam wakes and asks Dean where they are, he says they are in East TX a few hours from Richardson. Interstate 35 (I35) is a North/South traveling interstate running through Central TX and has never touched East TX at any time (Both Jensen and Jared are from TX so they should have picked up on this...). That and if they were a few hours north of Richardson, they would have been in Oklahoma *snort*.

Ah well, not Emmy material right? It was nice to have my homestate on though. Back in High School there was a house not too far from me called 'Crazy Man's' that was rumored to be haunted and there is an annual haunted house here in North TX called Hell House so they probably based it on that.

And if it's any consoliation, at least they pretend to base things in your state. My hometown has been everyplace and its brother, except for the actual location. And do they ever pretend to be based in Seattle? The logical location for the flora? No.

But I'm not bitter. Right.
