Notes: Mashing up the 60s Marvel back-story for the Black Widow, that she was modified and conditioned to be the perfect agent for Russia (a gross oversimplification), and with the movie-verse. Some of you may notice something crossovery about this story; that's in prep for something coming up. It's Romanoff in the movie listing.... technically, Natasha would use Romanova, the feminine version in the original Russian - Romanov is the masculine version. Widow's weeds were the black mourning clothes used in the English world starting back in Victorian days. The word "weeds" comes from the Old English "Waed" meaning "garment". (Wikipedia)
