Date: 2008-08-07 02:48 am (UTC)Your story however, just drew me in immediately and kept me spinning along with it like a slow waltz (where you don't really know the steps but find yourself pleasantly swept up in the flow).
I love the subtle familiarity in which the McShep is displayed, with Ziva clearly observing the implications like a true investigator and wondering if it's part of the conversation, part of what she's being told.
I like the letter-writing scene at the end, particularly the notion that she'll send tony a picture of the Atlantean ocean. A plot-bunny is nibbling my toes about a whole back and forth correspondence where they send each other random undistinctive pictures of the sea from their posting as agents afloat.
Can't wait for next installment :-)
