It was either that, or jump up and down like a little girl in glee at the possibilities. Being aloof was more dignified, especially when around one's new daughter.

I love this little moment of approval, McKay-style, just before the action starts. The daddy-daughter bonding throughout is wonderful and awww-inducing while still being true to character. Oh, Rodney :).
