Hmm, another show that I'm not watching. He's definitely got the hawtness part, which is essential, but his eyes look a little too knowing to me. Richard still has an innocence to him, like he still believes in the goodness of mankind or something. That guy just knows. Not that that's a bad thing, necessarily.

No actually I don't. I don't think about it much. I'm still fairly new to the whole fanfic/fandom thing and don't generally think of looking for an actual representation of fictional character.

You know, I always wondered while reading if Richard was possibly of mixed race or heritage. Anita always emphasizes that he is naturally tanned in complexion. Or maybe someone Italian or Greek? Hmm.

I think it's less European than that. Plus, Zeeman's a Dutch name. Didn't the Dutch have a bunch of African colonies?

Who needs evidence when you've got theories. I was just looking at a site called mixedfolks.com, which for some reason brought to mind Ricky Martin. Not supergay Ricky from the late 90's, but the one from the early 90's, with the long hair that was on General Hospital.

Hmm, am I older than you? I remember watching in the summer after coming home from driver's ed, so that would have been 15, I think, back in '94 when the cast was tres hawt. Now I think they trawl the back lots. O.o
