I think Richard would be more hardcore about the lack of "proper" schooling than Anita. After all, he is a schoolteacher.

Anita's problems with Harry's little experiment last chapter isn't so much what Harry did, than he did it without her helping out. She's really bad at this whole letting other protect themseleves bit, but as she said in this chapter, she'll try. It might not work, but she will try.
