*prods the internet* LKH's website says it's "out" on Feb. 28. Either this means that Micah's going to tell Anita that he's gay, or it'll be stores then.

you so had to challenge us. of course, the only thing i can think of is so laced with melodrama that it would be more appropriate on a soap opera, but still.

LoL...no worries there! I sometimes think life is nothing more than one big soap opera. As for the challenge...well, I just couldn't resist! ;)

Micah moved towards the door, dragging his bags behind him. Nathaniel was hiding down in the basement, not wanting to meet the wrath of his Namir-Ra and Namir-Raj.

"Why must you go, Micah?" Anita said, her voice hitched with tears. "Why can't you stay?"

"I'm sorry, Anita," he replied, pausing in the living room. His head was high, but he could not bring himself to look at her. "I can bear this secret no longer."

"But why, Michah?" Anita asked, clutching her stuffed penguin, Sigmund, to her heaving bosom. "I don't understand. What secret is it that has come between us?"

He sighed, then turned toward her, his eyes framed by a strip of light. "I'm gay."

Anita froze. She lowered the doll. "What?" she asked flatly.

"I'm gay," he repeated.

Anita looked at him for a moment, tapping her foot and looking like she would throw Sigmund if it wasn't for the fact that he was Sigmund. "And you're just now figuring this out?"

He shrugged. "Don't blame me. Hamilton is the one making me come out." He pointed at the calender. It read February 28th.

"And I suppose she's making you run into the arms of some luscious vampire I'm going to have to hate now?"

He shook his head. "No, something even more sinister than that."

"Mickey Mouse?" she drawled.

"Eduardo."

She blinked. "Excuse me?"

"Eduardo," he repeated. "Edward's evil twin." With a last twirl, he turned and walked out of the house.

Anita stared after him. "What? Wait! You mean Edward's the good twin?!?"

Omg, I love it! Hamilton and February 28...so awesome! And poor Anita's going to have even more to worry about than just Micah being gay after finding out Edward's the good twin! Ah, this totally made my day =D

Don't worry about the rl stuff, we understand. Take your time, maybe even take a little time for yourself once the pressure is off.

I just got over two weeks of not!fun work stuff myself. Those 80+ hour work weeks, they cause all sorts of problems.
