9000 words in one day... um, do nine technical illustrations count? Being worth a thousand words each, and all ... because that's probably as close as I've ever come.

Thanks for all the plot-terrific hours of enjoyment and suspense. I'm startled that you're planning to give us another chapter so soon. I'm very pleased, of course, but I'd somehow survive if you decided you had real-life stuff that you had to do instead of indulging my fic dependence.
