[livejournal.com profile] watcher457 has done it again, with an Inevitable ficlette called Once Bitten. It's Harry/Asher.

O_o

Go read, it's fun like yesterday. *pokes* Go.

Also, if you're into Snarry... hell, even if you're not, go check out Snape: the Home Fries Nazi (Snape/Harry, NC-17) by [livejournal.com profile] pir8fancier. And go read [livejournal.com profile] maeglinyedi's rec first, she says it so much better than I do.

Do you know when we will get the next chapter for Inevitable? Or Switchback? I am totally addicted to both.

I remember reading some where on your LJ that Inevitable is only going to have about 71 chapters...are we really that close to the end? Cause man...what will I do next? I will be adrift in fanfic land with no anchor.

Anyway just a quick note to pester and to say that you are awesome. And thanks for the recs, I am really liking them.

More Inevitable by maybe Friday or Saturday. Not sure about Switchback... frankly, I have to replan what Anita and Edward are going to do, and how it's going to go bad. I do plan to go back to that story once IN is done.

As for chapters, I'm having to up that number of chapters to about 85 now. I'm not sure how things will go, frankly, but I can't be done in 71 chapters now. I need about 9 for the final act alone.

:) Glad you're digging them.

You know what...I just read this on SkyeHawke 'cause of the funny title. It was good. However, I was waiting for the moment that Harry lets slip to the Diner's workers that Mr. Smith AKA. Bad Ass Snape (with no hair! BwaHaHa) was his teacher in school or was a double agent for the English Mafia or similar, just something about their shared past...But that's just me. It's probably more realistic that the past was not shared at that diner. All the characters were very focused on the present, they were focused on enjoying their second chances. The humor was there, and the descriptions of Harry coming to love the Arizona landscaping and playing soccer were my favorite parts. I thought the ending was just a tad bit abrupt; I wanted more of a description of the Arizona storm front.

It was good.

I liked the characterization of a suicidal Harry, and the reason *why* he was suicidual.

All the characters were very focused on the present, they were focused on enjoying their second chances.

That was the fun part, for me. Seeing Snape getting beyond the past, accepting his lack of magic, taking on more "Slytherins" (his crew of parolees), showing Harry how it was possible just to "be".
