Right, first off: Your Ron is just fantastic. He's showing growth, he's learnt from everything that's happened, he's not a whiny idiot who is there to prop up the action, which is sadly typical of other writers. I love that yeah, he's wigged about the situation but he doesn't even think about walking away or saying/doing something to hurt Luna - he's her friend.

He's not really her friend at this point. She's Ginny's friend, and Harry's friend, but Ron has seen her in action, knows she's smart and honest and loyal. And that's Ron -- not walking away when it's convenient, but staying because it's the right thing to do.

And lastly, I want to stomp on Corner's face and other body parts.

This wasn't just a plot device. There are people out there who are like this, and if I was going to write a world where differences in sexual orientation are met with fear and anger, I wanted to do it in a way that's not all sunshine and roses. That's not the point of Inevitable, but I needed to have it in there.
