Damn it. All right, kids, the Stargate Atlantis/Anita Blake crossover idea has been shelved due a lack of creduilty on my part at this time.

Although this means I get to go back to working on Balancing Act part III. And the next part of the HP/SGA crossover. And Magnolia 4. And Inevitable 70. and and and and.

Or maybe I'll start that SGA fic. Either way, I'm going to go away now to do so.

(Er, not far away, just out for a while. Back later. PS what are you doing for the longest day of the YEAR tomorrow?)

You sound quite busy with fic!!

Mmm...lets see...what am I doing for the longest day of the year tomorrow? Working. 10-5, like usual. When I get home, I'll prolly sit on my ass in front of my computer till midnight, like usual. My days are very predictable; it's sad, really.

What are you doing on the longest day of the year?

After work, I'm hiking out to this little cliff that overhangs a creek, locally, and being all one with nature and stuff. Summer solstice is the one day of the year that I'm consistently a good little pagan. (Winter solstice typically gets celebrated at Olive Garden *shrug*).

That really is a tough crossover. If you want to bounce ideas off me, feel free to email me. I do have one idea you could use (a basis of how the two worlds collide) that came to me when we chatted on my lj the other day.

I'm actually having a difficult time just coming up with an Atlantis fic. I started with an idea about Lorne but it fizzled fast.

I'm sitting with my cat in my lap and my doona around my body and hot chocolate, watching the rain fall and contemplating how to consecrate the rock circle that my Mum, in a fit of something-or-other created in the backyard. It is the awesomest.

Being that I'm in the Great Southern Land, it's winter solstice here - and finally we get some rain! *big grin*

Hmm... being that Radek and Lorne are my favourite regular extras atm, what if... lycanthropes? 'cause I could see that...

Whichever way you turn, it'll be good fic, so listen to your muses! :)

I'm not doing much of anything right now. But Spouse is doing a 40-mile bike ride (not all in one gulp; there will be a two-hour break for lunch and what not).

My rambling about tomorrow. . .today

I'll be sitting before my computer and enjoying the fact that I get to read even longer that I usually do.

I probably wont even notice that the day is longer seeming as for the past week or so the sun hasn't completely set until around 10pm. How weird? Completely freaked me out when I realized what time it was. 9:30 and the sun was still up, peaking through the trees. I don't get it at all. And for some odd reason, this all reminds me of the time when I thought Spring vacation was going to fall on my birthday (April 17) like used to, but instead came three weeks before. Bummer.
