It's not a bad hypothesis, definitely. I like it ~ given that the Key was manifested this way, it makes sense that the inherent female sources of magical power would bound it's existence and expression. Interesting.
Giles? I agree on everyone else, but Giles must've had some influence, particularly after Dawn and Joyce 'found out'. Even if it's all monk-induced. I think Nathanial's ability to manage people would be incredibly useful in this regard. And you're right on Micah, he is the father figure and plays that role very well.
And interesting also? Dawn may be in a five year old's body with five year old hormones, but she would still have the 15 year old OMG HE's SO HOT mind set. Of any of Anita's boys. How would Anita react to that? :D
