Mind the Gap 8.3

Mind the Gap 8.3 is posted! And just to mess with people's heads, it's a Faith point of view! The one and only chapter. I just needed to write this chapter. I have had this idea in my head, for a Faith and Richard conversation, for almost a month now. Ever since that wonderful kiss back between Anita and Faith. I haven't written a lot of Faith, but yeah.

And I'm going to make one reivewer very upset. I was thanked last chapter (8.2) for having no Richard. Well, now we have 13 kb of Richard text. Because I like Richard. Richard Richard Richard. (I'll stop now).

-FFA entry featuring more MG characters

-Original stuff

Squeeing like a big ol' fangirl!!

Okay, so I reviewed 'Mind The Gap' after reading it non stop all afternoon, but it didn't seem enough so now I'm borderline stalking you by commenting as well!!

First of all bravo on your characterisation, I don't know how you kept them so cannon, it's something I really struggle with when writing (my mind tends to go off in curious directions!!)But the speech patterns and history were spot on.

Secondly, Dawn. I adore Dawn and always have, but especially season & dawn and you are the only other BtVS fan I know who seems to like her too!!

There is so much more to say about this fic so far and so many bits I loved, but I won't bore you by quoting your own words back to you!!

Just one thing, Is there going to be anymore to the Buffy/Rafael ficlet or was that purely a one shot, because it was just magical, and are there going to be any more delicious pairings in this wonderful fic?

First off, thanks so much! I'm glad you like Mind the Gap. I'm actually kind of surprised it's gotten the reaction it has. Not that I mind :).

I started writing Dawn, basically, because she was basically unexplored as a character. It was easier to write her, in character, doing other stuff, because we only had three seasons of her instead of seven, I thought. Plus, she's such a loveable spaz :)

As for the Buffy and Rafael thing, yes, there will be one day be more. I'll never match the writing style of Over Flame, but such is life. The Buffy and Rafael relationship, starting from Over Flame, will be the sequel to Mind the Gap. It's tentativly called "Candlelight" and we'll be getting the first part of that one very soon.
