~~~~~~~~~~~~
He doesn't know how it came to this. Lying on a motel room bed, listening to Dean clean guns, thinking about how to hunt the evil thing they were after... and being okay with that. With this, with his life.
It's just that accepting this life means a life without Jessica. Accepting this life means accepting what happened to her, accepting that she is dead because of him.
Just like Mom was dead, because of him.
It meant accepting that people die because of him.
He wonders when he became the kind of man to accept such a horrible thing.
I'm beset with plot bunnies from Supernatural and various crossovers. And when I say "beset" I mean "eaten alive". Guess what's crying out to be written now? These two wonderful things: (ps if you want the bunnies, take'em)
Stargate SG-1/Supernatural, Sam Carter/Sam Winchester
/
Set while Sam C's at Area 51 in Nevada, the Winchester boys are in Nevada chasing some bad thing, I dunno what (Jackalope springs to mind). Sam C ends up at a seedy bar, trying to avoid her co-workers. Sam W's there, being all emo!hair and soulful. After some liquor and mopey talk about how no one understands them, Sam v. Sam becomes Sam/Sam. Mrow.
Then soon after, something starts being big and evil in the area. Sam C thinks "alien" and Sam W thinks "demon" and there's much action and shooting and Dean being appalled that his brother's been bumping it with a USAF Colonel. And more stuff happens.
but wait, it gets better.
Stargate SGA/Supernatural, Elizabeth Weir/Dean Winchester
/
So in The Return 1, Elizabeth is at a loss of what to do after they get the big ole' boot from Atlantis. So she goes to visit her college roommate, Ellen Harvelle. There she meets up with the Winchester boys, Sam sticks his foot in his mouth, and Dean thinks the prissy diplomat is too good to get her hands dirty. Wackiness ensues and Elizabeth proves her metal to the boys. Which Dean thinks is hot. Because Torri Higginson is my secret TV girlfriend. And stuff happens and they save the world, like for reals.
Also, I've got a fantastic/brilliant/all-consuming idea of how to mesh the SGA and SPN worlds on a fundamental scale, but I'll leave that out here just in case I decide to write it down the road.
Oh, and this is all emo because I don't have any time to write new stuff, or something.
PS: To date, I have written 27,380 words in November.
Date: 2006-11-30 06:44 am (UTC)You know that plotbunny you had on Dean/Harry, I cloned it and it mutated!!! I have my own Dean/Harry mutated plot bunny with the middle and ending all written out, but the beginning is being difficult. *eyes and prods fic, fic wiggles/gurgles* As soon as it's finished, I shall present to you as a prezzie. Hopefully within the next couple of days the beginning shall be all written and makes sense. XD
Date: 2006-11-30 06:56 am (UTC)I can't wait to see what you've got there! I need to get off my duff and write my version of the piece. I think it can work well... if I ever get around to it. Mostly, I just like the idea of our bristly heros together.
aka yay!
Supernatural means nothing to me, and if I say 'good, less things to take you away from Dawning Light' I'm being bias and you may have the urge to smack me. So I won't say it, or even think it.
*Steals all the icons on the page and hordes them* Pretty!
Date: 2006-11-30 06:09 pm (UTC)You can say what you want. I won't hold it against you. In fact, I'm thinking about the next chapter of DL right now. It will involve the third adult in the house a lot more (Micah) and we'll see that of all the people in the story, he's perhaps the most well adjusted. Which is really sad.
They are pretty icons. They have such pretty people on tv these days...
Dean: DANGEROUS bunnies. You could lose an eye.
Date: 2006-12-01 05:32 am (UTC)Nice ideas. Cracked out, but what else is new? The Sam/Sam one, especially, has the possibility for much cuteness and angst. Is there such a thing as cute angst, or are they mutually exclusive?
Date: 2006-12-01 06:02 am (UTC)cute angst does exist. Anytime Sam Winchester is on screen with his puppy-dog eyes, he's as cute as a bug and twice as heart-string-tugging. Anyone with Sam is just adding to the contradiction.
