Contrary to popular opinion, I'm not dead, fic-wise. Every time I think work will let up, I am unpleasantly surprised as things increase in stressful exponentialsm.

Let's recap the WIPs for my own edification. (Not the finished fics that at this point may have a sequel)

The "Front Burner" stories (off-site links)

Inevitable (HP/AB): 72 chapters done, 8 to go.

Dawning Light (BtVS/AB): 8 chapters done, about 12 or so to go.

The Roadhouse Series (BtVS/SPN): 3 installments down, two to go.

If You Go Into The Woods (SPN/AB): 2 chapters down, about 5 to go.

Magnolia (AB/X-Men): 4 chapters down, 1 to go

Switchback (AB): 11 chapters down, millions to go.

Reap What You Sow (SPN/AB): 2 down, about 20 to go

Promises (FF/MG): 1 down, 1 to go.

Hey Little Sister (SGA/SPN): 1 installment down, the remainder of the story to go.

The "not sure when" stories

Shop Talk (BtVS/SV): 4 chapters down, not sure how many left

Candlelight (BtVS/AB): 7 chapters down, about 5 to go? Not sure.

Letter Box (BtVS/AB): 5 down, not sure how many to go

Are there any WIPs I've forgotten about?

All I need to do now is crack down and get back to work... after this month is over!

PS: The reason that I started to write 'Hey Little Sister', with Elizabeth Weir and John Winchesters as cousins, in the first place: It's these photos of Torri Higginson and Jeffrey Dean Morgan:

and

Too. Damn. Pretty.

In conclusion: cousins.

What about that WIP where, you know, things are happening and the characters are trying to figure out what's what, only some of them don't trust the others...I jest, I jest. Can't think of any other WIPs. Sure is nice to see them laid out like that, though!

*headsmack* Oh, that one! Of course. Hee hee.

It does line things up in a row. Now I can see all the intense work I have to do.

I can certainly relate to the job stress. I've been in the office for the past 5 hours. I'm amazed that you are still able to make the time to write. What's even more incredible is that your stuff is so damn good. I am deeply envious.

Eek. I hope you at least had a chance to get some sleep tonight.

Frankly, I haven't been able to write in a while. I get home and am brain-dead, although I have been thinking about the next chapter of a certain story. Trying to get back into the groove, but I think I'll need to re-read of what I have so far in the story. A lot.

I was up coughing the whole night but between bouts, I did sleep.

I've spent a week working on a 200 word drabble. But my brain is not functioning. My boss sent an email thanking a few of us for some hard work and I started crying. I'm feeling majorly pathetic right now.

Which is why, sometimes, you just have to do what you can do.

*offers up calm, stress reducing vibes.* That's a lot of WIPs. But you'll get them done, just take your time and sneak in a word or ten every few days.

Calm. I remember what that was like. So long ago...

Poor thing. You really do have a lot to get done. But hey! Look on the bright side.
If you write just 10 chapters, you'll be done with Inevitable, Magnolia and Promises. Then you only have about 1000 chapters to go! That's not so bad! Really!

Only 1000 left! Yay!

Oh man. So much to write. So much to do. It's tiring just looking at it all.

I totally dig JDM as he looks now.

But you know? Now that I see him younger? He really *could* pass for Dean's dad. But not Sam's. HOW EERIE!

JDM is teh hawt, I agree. And you're right, he totally looks like a young Dean. Who is also teh hawt.

That show is too full of pretty, pretty men.

Oooh, nice pics!

At least you're on top of your WIPs and you seem to be progressing well. BTW, are you planning on doing more Clone-Jack in Anita-verse? That's a really good and interesting crossover.

They are so pretty, yes yes yes.

Having an idea of what I need to do helps me clear my mind.

Not sure if I'll write any more Balancing-Act Jack, but never say never :)

Oh the evilness of stressful jobs. Well, jobs in general, really.
I didn't realize how many WiP's you had going until I saw them all laid out like this! Crazy man, crazy! I know you'll finish 'em, though. It may just take a while, which isn't so bad. Something to look forward to!

Pretty men; very pretty men in that show, and yes, cousins. Absolutely.

It's very crazy. I need to finish some of these soon. I have all the endings in mind.... oh well. Some day.

Hope you don't drop.

Hope you don't drop Balancing Act.

And I know you have this whole thing, where the author which you were crossing over with gave you the giant middle finger. But I have to say I really like your writing of that person's characters. And I hope you continue to do so.

But as the channel of thus writing it be your choice to, or not to.

However even with this bias, I hope you choose to.

All fabulious. I've been off-line and having computer difficulties for a while. I read the latest Dawning Light and adored it but haven't gotten the chance to tell you yet!

And the pics -- gorgeous. I heart Torri.
