Setting: Pre-series. Right after the jerk!finace dumped Anita.

"Anita, he's a jerk."

"Hence the fact that I'm throwing away all his stuff?"

"Come on, sit down for a minute."

"I'm not sitting down!"

"You're in pain, I know, we've all been through this."

"Stop! I just need to get the rest of his stuff out of here and I'll be fine!"

"Anita... I don't think it works that way."

"It has to. It just... I have to get past him. To get over it."

"I know. But it'll take time."

"I don't have time."

"You do."

"Fine. I won't take the time."

I'm seeing Ronnie too for whatever reason. I love it when anyone does pre-series AB. It's so deliciously ripe for angst. Last line is pretty much the root of all Anita's relationship drama. A large part, at least.
