Off topic: Yahoo, bite my shiny metal ass

Anyway, if any of you all have yahoo accounts, you might want to take a look at their privacy page on Web beacons, aka super-snooper cookies. Basically it's a cookie that Yahoo can use to track your off-site web usage to "personalize your experience when you visit Yahoo! web sites that are located both on and off of the yahoo.com domain." Whatever. They say you can opt your browser out of these things by visiting the link, but I half-suspect this is like answering spam mail.

Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.
