As part of a comment that I was composing for a friend, I happened to check out how long Inevitable was, at 11-point font.

1,254 pages in Word.

1,254 PAGES. In WORD.

SO FAR.

I have five chapters left to write and probably 100 pages. That's insanely long.

I really need to get back to that story. Which leads to the dilemma: Inevitable or Dawning Light?

I vote for Inevitable. While they're both wonderful stories, you're almost done with Inevitable. And then you can do a completed-the-extremely-long-fic happy dance. Which, hopefully will lead to inspiration for more fic...and possibly more Dawning Light.

See, I'm sneaky. Plus, I personally love the "Woo-hoo!" that comes with finishing something. Makes me work extra hard... and I thought that maybe you might be that way too.

I think I vote for Inevitable too. I'm SO close to being done... So close. Well, if you consider 30,000 words close.

i vote for dawning light, because i have left the lovelyness of bc to spend three months in fricking ontario where there is enough snow to build a mountain the size of mt. washington, and i need cuteness.
