New Fic - the Me in Team

Nothing like posting a brand new fic and neglecting the "T" on the first word of the title. Yeesh.

Anyway, I give to you The 'Me' in Team. A Kate Lockley/RPIT crossover. And while this may just look like another AB/BtVS crossover, never fear. It might just tie into the Mind the Gap universe and the sequel to that. Which I should have up soon. Real soon.

ETA: I just realized why this is a Good Thing(tm): Candlelight isn't really the sequel to Mind the Gap; it's more a sister story. The Me in Team will be the sequel, dealing with the fallout of the Mind the Gap conclusion. I need to get me one of those index pages soon. Counting FFA entires, the MtG series stands at five, to be upped to six very soon. Go me.

Thanks! After rewatching the Angel DVDs from season two, I find I like her a lot more. It was while watching her getting fired by the LAPD that the idea came to me. This one shoudl be easy to write: I love writing cop stuff. Especially Zerbrowski. Who will feature prominently.

Ooohh, this is a DAMN good idea!!! I'm so glad you thought of it! I always did like Kate, and rather missed her after she vanished from the Angel series....often wondered what happened to her afterwards, y'know?

And this is just a *perfect* connection, Kate and RPIT! Copness! I love Zerbrowski and Dolph, and the whole general 'detective' element when they're in the AB books. I can't rant enough about what an *awesome* idea I think this is! ^_^

That said, *love* the prologue! You're capturing Kate's character perfectly so far, right down to the way she says things. I got a kick out of her comment about only seeing demons in the corners that "actually had demons in them". ::snickers::

Anyway, kickass beginning, you're on a roll! Can't wait to see where you're going with this!

Thanks! I some of the Kate episodes last night and so her character is right in my head. It's the kind of story I like to write too: cop-action-stuff.
