I was a big Buffy fan before I got into New Who (watched all 7 seasons back to back several times, having come to the show late), and this works very well as a crossover...

And this bit:

Buffy felt herself smile. "I want you to tell me about Martha Jones."

He frowned. "Why?"

"Because she saved the world," Buffy said. "Girls who save the world should be remembered."

YOU tell him, girl !!!!! He should be remembering and telling people how awesome Martha is to save the world with words !
