Okay, I get it. I like vampires. I totally dig them. However, now that I am back from seeing Twilight, I absolutely do not need to write a post-movie Twilight/Anita Blake crossover in which Federal Marshal Blake comes to Forks to solve those "animal" killings and realizes that she's met one of those daywalking Cullens before. Anita/Alice for the epic-tastic win.

Most of all, the image of Esme playing "mom" with Rosaline and Alice at a school mother-daughter movie night is melting my brain. I'm so screwed.

In other news, I'm looking forward to the release of the Pomegranate SmartPhone. Some say it's the next iPhone. Check out some of the apps, they're killer.

You're right, I do. There's too many stories in my head and not enough time.

LJ is a fickle bitch some days. I've noticed that it tosses my cookies whenever I reboot, which is dumb.

That's okay, I spent fifteen minutes trying to convince someone that Twilight would be awesomer if Daniel Craig (as Bond) was in it. That he'd be all visiting the Cullens and shit when he's in the area, coz he knows they won't die coz you know they are vampires and he finds it totally refreshing to have the stability and they appreciate sort of the heads up on like spy stuff, coz they are interested in foreign policy. Also, he feels all safe coz bullets can't kill them but they can rip the heads of things. And Edward doesn't think he's a savory fellow but relates to his incredibly angsty past and he is always trying to play stuff on the piano that echoes in his tortured soul. Emmett thinks he's better than baseball and Alice is always looking at him and bursting into tears and then going off with Jasper. And anyways Bond always leaves food at their house and gin and pads around the kitchen making sandwiches because they aren't using the kitchen for anything. Only he has to shower before he comes over because he smells like violence and sex. Jasper tried to eat him one time. And he's always leaving jars of olives lying around from his martini making and Edward was afraid of the damage to his liver...and yeah.

I'm very sad about that phone. :(

See? Twilight is totally awesome for crack!tastic crossovers. Of course, anything is better with Daniel Craig in it. Mmm. Daniel Craig.

Jasper tried to eat him one time.

I'll admit. The image made me chortle :D

It took me an amusing amount of time to believe that phone wasn't real. I blame this on the fact that I couldn't understand why someone would spend that much money on such a cool website for a gag. Totally sending that to my coffee-maker brother. He'll be out of the job soon!

It won't leave me alone. It won't be book compliant becuase there's no way I can read those things before I start writing, but I think the movie, plus a copious use of the internet for characterization (or, like, what Jasper's deal is) will help. I need to get this just out of my head.

It'll be a good excuse to start writing Anita again, in any case.

Just keep in mind that her Jasper story is after a later book when they introduce the werewolves. (and yes, there is a love triangle for Bella between the vampire and the werewolf in the actual books...)

OMG you so do need another fandom! Seriously! I mean, c'mon, think about Alice, think about Anita's tangled love-life, think about all the things Alice couldn't help but blurt out but then would refuse to explain.

And Edward would be OMG so horrified by Anita's lifestyle, as would Rosalie, I think, and everybody else would be kinda, "Um . . okay, yeah . . but . . so?" . . . and then Edward and Rosalie would have to realize they agreed on something and the world would implode.

. . . also Bella and her wanting to be a vampire would freak Anita out so bad. And Bella would have all manner of questions about Anita and the vampires she knows and how they can drink a little bit of blood without killing you, and I can so picture her smacking Edward on the arm being like, "So what's your deal, then, huh?" . . or something more Bella-sounding than that, but you get the idea.

(Yes, I'm evil. Sorry. Can't help it.)

I keep re-reading my Anita pregnancy fic aka the Underworld crossover, thinking I really would like to do something with that, I'm just not sure what. Mostly I have this scene in my head where Zerbrowski shows up at the hospital to visit Anita, and Anita's all "How'd you know I was here?" And Zerbrowski's all, "Called the Circus looking for you and ended up on the phone with Count Dracula for two hours and hey, congrats, here's flowers, Katie picked them out, you can tell by how they don't suck." And Anita's like, " . . you talked to Jean-Claude for two hours?" And Zerbrowski can be like, "That guy needs a friend, seriously." And Anita'd be like, "He has friends! He has lots of friends!" And Zerbrowski can be like, "I meant people he isn't fucking and who don't owe him fealty." And Anita can be like, " . . oh." And Zerbrowski would be like, "So I invited him to join the bowling league. *evil grin*" And Anita can be like, "Did you not notice how I'm pregnant and on bed rest and how you shouldn't make the world end right now?"

. .. this is possibly the longest and most tangent-y comment ever.

the scene in your head cracks me up, which isn't the greatest idea since I'm currently in the library trying my hardest NOT to laugh.

The one thing that occurred to me after the movie is that Alice might have an easier time dealing with an OMG necromancer because she would know how Anita would end up, instead of just being freaked over OMG necromancer.

This whole idea is eating my brain. It's really bad.

But, but, vampire fandoms are fun!!!

In fact, I shall you give the other vampire fandom that does not include vampire detectives! The HBO vampire series that's on or was on. True Blood. Quirky southern waitress and vampires. :D how can it go wrong?

They are fun, but I already have so many. Buffy. Anita Blake. Kindred the Embraced. I'm sure there are others. Esp. if you count the Wraith from SGA as crazy space vampires. Oh, and I'm a fan of the True Blood books, and also the Blood books by Tanya Huff. Too many vampires.

Although I can't get this silly movie out of my head. It was such a lovely movie. He *sparkled*. It was so *high school*.

I saw the movie on sunday. I saw the sparkle too! Loved the imagery and effects. And the head vamp of the family, Carlise, he was the jerky football jock from Can't Hardly Wait. :D I squee'd when I saw that. *grins*

The movie did give me a bit of vertigo, with the camera work. But otherwise it was very interesting and kept me into the story. Of course, I was giggling a little the whole time, but it was awesome. You're the second person to mention Can't Hardly Wait. I'll have to look into that baby.

The plot bunnies are rampant. It's a little scary.

Can't Hardly Wait (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0127723/) was the teen movie before the American Pie craze. :D It is full of awesomeness and Seth Green.

Also, not sure if you've seen this yet, but [livejournal.com profile] m15m reviewed the Twilight film. (http://community.livejournal.com/m15m/19551.html) Full of awesomesauce!

BELLA: We're gonna be all right, pet cactus. We're gonna be all right.
- Only a taste of the review. *giggles*

As for plotbunnies, I have no room to comment on plotbunnies. They've taken me in the direction of bandom/fandom/RPS fics...yet I am churning the stories out, so while happy, it's an odd 'wtf' moment too. lol So go write crack Twilight/Anita Blake, me and my horde of sparkly purple plotbunnies of DOOM! eagerly await whatever you come up with. :D

I actually read the m15m review of Twilight before I decided to go to the film. It's what sold me on the experience as vitally necessary. Well, that and the speedo-stuffing slide show.

The movie is hilarious. Probably unintentionally... although it's enough tongue in cheek that the actors and director probably knew what they were doing. It's got some funny stuff and some funny cheese... It's just so high school. I have no idea how like the books it is; i really have no desire to read those, but the movie was fun. A little over the top in how much everyone suddenly liked Bella, but I hear that's from the books. Watching that main actor guy (can't be sussed to google his name) do a James Dean was worth the price of admission. Just don't go in expecting Shakespeare.

The acting was great, tho - the actress who played Bella and the guy who played Charlie (her dad) totally rocked their parts.

Wow, this is a long random reply >.<

Haha, sounds great. I never thought of Antia blake or twilight as a crossover before, but it *is* you, so I gather you'll change my mind and I'll end up really liking it. Weren't they nice eyecandy, the Cullens? Bella was such a dry actress though, I didn't really like her. Edward was the only Cullen who was actually ugly, in my opinion. He was ugly in Harry Potter. Great actor, but still ugly. >.<

What did you think of the dad? (I can never remember how to spell his name). I thought he was hottest of them all! Although, Rosalie was a nice touch. Alice was a bit childish for my taste, but still my favorite character. Jasper and Emmett-- now *theres* some good normal looking people.

Oh yeah, and to throw another movie at you what about The Covenant? The movie about Ipswich witches? Its a good one, I reccomend it. It could be a great crossover with say, Buffy, or even Anita Blake, maybe an AU or something.

Sorry, The Covenant is one of my favorite fandomes and since you're one of my favorite writers when it comes to fanfiction, I figured it'd be a great match.

It's totally me. All vampires, all the time.

The Cullens were so awesome. I have to wonder what direction they gave to Jasper, because he looked like he had a pole shoved up his ass. I liked what Bella did with the content - it was so very much the awkwardness of high school. She totally reminded me of the way Emma Watson/Hermione looks these days. Of course, I wasn't expecting Shakespeare. Better than High School Musical...

I loved Charlie (the dad) beyond measure. He was awesome. His uncertain confused father role was so totally believable. I might have to go back and watch the movie again. As long as I can avoid reading the books, I'm good.

I'll check out The Covenant. I have heard of it, but have not seen it. Thanks for the rec :D

And it's all good on the long comments. I'm all about the online rambling :)

Hehe, Jasper reminds me so much of Tyler Simms (again, the Covenant). Bella's pretty, I'll give you that, but like I said, I prefer Rosalie...sure, she's vain, but still cool.

Charlie was awesome though completely opposite from what I imagined him as.
