Glad you enjoyed! And yes, Serenity is added to the list. I think if characters can relate to a place as a person (ie Kaylee and Serenity) then it is possible to write that into fic. Like, I don't think Jack O'Neill/Stargate Command would work :P

It would be great for his team to find out more about him though... especially Teyla. I think she would understand why he left.
I think they would all understand why he left, and why he did what he did. Rodney might have a hard time with the idea of magic and of how John got away with tricking the system, but Ronon and Teyla would get it.

Oh, all this talk of revelations is making me want to write a sequel!
