You know what's awesome? Fandom awards. The 2008 Stargate Fan Awards were announced last month and...

Agent Afloat Atlantis won for best crossover! (and I got best crossover writer too :) A huge thanks to everyone who voted for the story (and who's read it and all that too).

So if you haven't yet read Agent Afloat Atlantis, I'd recommend it. It's one of the stories I'm most proud of writing. Everything came together so nicely.

I heartily recommend Agent Afloat, too; and that's to people who like SGA or people who like NCIS, but have never seen the other show. It's just a terrific story on every level for either fandom.

Thanks for your lovely comment :) I find that crossovers are the best way to pull people into a new fandom -- get 'em hooked and reading. That's how I came to a few of my fandoms initially (Actually, I think that Stargate Atlantis was one of them)

Congratulations on the awards, they are well deserved! This is one of my favourite fics of everything I have ever read - I found it through the recommendation at crack_van a few months ago, but didn't work up my courage to comment or rec it myself at that time. I just recced it in my journal, the first specific rec I ever made - and what a start it is! It's such a beautifully written story and exemplifies so much of what is special about fanfiction - a crossover that creates something more in the juxtaposition of two shows. Ziva is one of my favourite characters, and your portrayal of her is both illuminating and elating. I love this story.
