One of the best lines I ever read was in regard to a Buffy/Willow/Xander menage a trois and worked perfectly for me. Can't remember the exact quote, but it was along the lines of "Buffy's straight with a Willow exception, while Willow's gay with a Xander exception".

With all those three have been through together, I can see that.

My brain's finally been jogged enough to remember it was the Buffy/Willow/Xander (http://www.livejournal.com/community/buffyverse1000/482.html?thread=50914) entry for the buffyverse1000.

The exact quote was "He doesn't bother to explain that Willow's gay-with-a-Xander-exception and Buffy's straight-with-a-Willow-exception."
