Considering Edward was hired to find the Master of the City by Oliver, I expect there to be a confrontation. And at what point does Anita end up siding with the monsters? All questions to ponder.

A great update! I'm considering re-reading all the books now just to make sure I stay a step ahead ;)

Quick question and I'm guessing you know the answer since you are such an avid fan .. Why was Richard in the bed? I don't recall that being answered in the books or I just forgot. I always thought it odd, he doesn't let people feed from him (much less JC) and he doesn't have sex with men either, was he sleeping with someone else? I forget. Help!

BTW, I'd love move on Inevitable ...

It was never addressed why a naked Richard was in JC's bed. At that point in the series, Richard was still subordinate to Marcus (the then Ulfric) and he said he was loaned out to JC, whatever that meant.

Well, one could extrapolate that this is the very reason Richard (once he has the choice) won't give blood to JC. He has the power to say no at this time and before he could not. It seems a very Richard thing to do .. stick to morals even when you could get killed in the process. :)
